AC, Refrigeration & Home Testing FAQs
We install and maintain AC systems, service commercial refrigeration, and test and insulate homes across Pinellas and Pasco counties.
AC Systems We Install
We install central, split, mini-split, package, chiller and geothermal AC systems, plus home purification systems. We assess your home or business layout to help select a suitable system. Our technicians are licensed, insured and EPA-certified, and AC installation estimates are free.
Residential & Commercial AC Maintenance
We inspect and maintain residential and commercial AC units and offer maintenance programs. Our work includes cleaning controls, fan blades and blower wheels; lubricating bearings; checking refrigerant charge; and inspecting thermostat operation. We also replace filters and motors, repair transformers and capacitors, and upgrade relays.
Commercial Refrigeration Equipment
We handle walk-in freezers and coolers, refrigerated display cases, keg boxes, beer coolers, bottle-top and salad-top coolers, and meat or fish cases. We design and install commercial refrigeration systems to suit your property's needs and provide refrigeration service.
Monthly Commercial Kitchen Maintenance
We offer a monthly preventive maintenance program for commercial kitchens. Our routine covers cooking and refrigeration equipment inspections, with repairs when needed. We also repair kitchen equipment when a failure occurs.
Measuring Home Air Leakage
Our blower-door test measures air infiltration into your home. A doorway frame and panel hold a variable-speed fan; a pressure gauge measures indoor and outdoor pressure differences, while an airflow manometer and hoses measure airflow. We inspect interior spaces for leakage and provide sealing, repair and gap-filling work.
Preparing Your Home for Testing
Before our technician arrives, completely extinguish wood and coal fires and remove ashes from open fireplaces. Plan a walk-through to point out drafty or hard-to-condition rooms. We need access to all spaces, including closets, built-in cabinets, attics, crawl spaces and unused rooms.
Blower‑Door Test Duration
Allow up to an hour or more for our blower-door test, depending on your home's complexity. During testing, we monitor interior spaces for air escaping or entering.
Removing & Replacing Old Insulation
We remove old insulation and blow in new insulation in attics and walls. After installation, we perform a blower-door test and take an energy reading to check for air leaks.

Do you maintain both residential and commercial AC units?
Yes. We inspect and maintain both residential and commercial units, with maintenance programs available. Our maintenance work includes cleaning controls, fan blades and blower wheels, oiling or greasing bearings, checking refrigerant charge and inspecting thermostat operation.
What commercial refrigeration equipment do you handle?
We handle walk-in freezers and coolers, refrigerated displays, keg boxes, beer coolers, bottle-top coolers, salad-top coolers, and meat or fish cases. Emergency commercial refrigeration repairs are also available.
Do you offer monthly commercial kitchen maintenance?
Yes. Our monthly preventive maintenance routine includes inspections of your commercial kitchen's cooking and refrigeration equipment. We make repairs when necessary.
What does a blower-door test measure?
It measures your home's air infiltration. We use a doorway panel, variable-speed fan, pressure gauge, airflow manometer and hoses to measure pressure differences and airflow. We inspect interior spaces for incoming or escaping air and seal, repair or fill gaps.
How should I prepare my home for a blower-door test?
Extinguish wood and coal fires, remove fireplace ashes, and plan a walk-through with access to all spaces. Our technician closes exterior doors and windows, opens interior doors, closes fireplace dampers and woodstove air inlets, and adjusts atmospheric fossil-fuel appliance controls so they cannot fire during testing, restoring those controls afterward.
How long does a blower-door test take?
Expect our test to take up to an hour or more, depending on the complexity of your home.
Can you remove and replace old insulation?
Yes. We take out existing attic and wall insulation before adding fresh blown-in material. Our follow-up blower-door testing and energy measurement check the house for air leakage.
