Air Leak Sealing

We locate home air leaks with blower door testing, then seal leaks and repair or fill gaps. We serve homeowners across Pinellas & Pasco County.

Sealing and gap repairs

We seal air leaks identified during blower door testing. After testing, we return to replace, repair or fill gaps using current products and technology.

How we locate air leaks

Our blower door test measures home air infiltration. During the test, we monitor interior spaces for air escaping or coming in to locate leaks that need attention.

Energy losses, moisture and drafts

A properly sealed home can reduce energy consumption caused by air leakage, help avoid moisture condensation problems and reduce uncomfortable drafts from outdoor air.

Insulation with post‑project testing

We remove old insulation and install blown-in insulation in attics and walls. Once the insulation project is complete, we perform a blower door test and take an energy reading.

Preparing your home for assessment

Plan a walk-through to point out drafty rooms. We need access to closets, built-in cabinets, attics, crawl spaces and unused rooms. Before testing, all wood and coal fires must be completely out, with ashes removed from open fireplaces.

Older and newer homes

Proper sealing can benefit both older and newer homes. We use testing to identify incoming or escaping air, then address the leaks and gaps we find.

Affordable testing and sealing

We offer affordable blower door testing and air-leak sealing services. The test can take up to an hour or more, depending on your home's complexity.

How it works

Locate leaks, then repair gaps

  1. Walk through problem areas

We walk through your home with you to identify drafts and rooms that are difficult to keep comfortable.

  2. Test for incoming and escaping air

During blower door testing, we monitor interior spaces to locate incoming or escaping air.

  3. Seal leaks and repair gaps

We seal identified leaks and return after the test to replace, repair or fill gaps.

Emergency AC repair availability

We offer 24-hour emergency AC repairs. Office hours Mon–Fri, 8 am–4 pm; weekend hours Sat–Sun, 7 am–3 pm, for emergencies only.

Customer experiences with our team

4.4 stars after 163 reviews

  • I have been a customer of Todd's for many years. Every technician that has come to service my house has been very professional and courteous. They make a noticeable effort to not disturb or make a mess while working at my house. I had damage to my mini split during hurricane Milton and rather than just try to sell me a new unit, Todd had his team try every option to fix it. Todd hires very skilled technicians and also makes sure his team are excellent at customer service. I want to give a special thanks to Brandon and Noel who have done such a great job when working at my house, I wanted to write this review. Also, Barb is very professional and will always get back to you when she says will. You have a great team Todd. Thank you.

Questions

Air leak sealing questions

Call (727) 585-6970
What equipment do you use to test for leaks?

We use a doorway frame and flexible panel with a variable-speed fan, a pressure gauge to measure indoor and outdoor pressure differences, and an airflow manometer and hoses.

How are doors and appliances prepared for testing?

We close exterior doors and windows, open interior doors, and close fireplace dampers, doors and woodstove air inlets. We set atmospheric fossil-fuel appliance controls so they do not fire during testing, then restore their original settings.

Where do you provide air leak sealing?

We serve homeowners across Pinellas & Pasco County with blower door testing, air-leak sealing and gap repairs.

Address drafts and air leakage

Our testing identifies incoming and escaping air so we can seal leaks and repair gaps that contribute to drafts and air-leakage energy losses.
